Club Planning Programme

What is the Club Planning Programme?

The Club Planning Programme (CPP) is designed to support Clubs in the development, implementation and review of Club Plans. The key features of the Programme include:

  • Trained Club Planning Facilitators working with each Club
  • A Club Planning Guide for Clubs together with online supports
  • Implementation, monitoring and evaluation advice

How does the Club Planning Programme work?

Throughout 2019, the updated Club Planning Programme will support Clubs through the following planning process:

  1. Club enters the Club Planning Programme
  2. Appointed Facilitator meets Club Executive
  3. Club Planning structures established
  4. Club membership consulted
  5. Club Plan developed and launched
  6. Club Plan implemented and reviewed

The duration of this process will largely be at the discretion of the Club; however, the design and development phase should take between two to three months and the recommended Club Plan duration should be between three to five years.

How can a Club get involved?

Your Club can get involved in the Club Planning Programme by downloading this Expression of Interest Form and submitting it to the Club & County Planning Committee, via your County Development Officer. The names and email address for all County Development Officers are available below.
