Objectives:
Part 1: Psychological Resilience
- To increase knowledge and understanding of what psychological resilience is and is not
- To increase knowledge of personal qualities to develop psychological resilience
- To understand how psychological resilience can be proactively developed to manage stress and to maintain performance and wellbing under pressure.
Part 2: Mental Well-being
- To increase knowledge and awareness of mental well-being
- To increase knowledge and awareness of strategies to manage stress and obtain/maintain good mental well-being
- To increase awareness of support mechanisms available for GAA match officials

3 hours approxThe RefWell Programme was designed by a team of researchers in Ulster University and Queen's University Belfast, specifically for Gaelic Games referees. The course is split up into 2 parts below. Part A focuses on Psychological Resilience and is made up of 4 Modules. Part B focuses on Managing My Wellbeing and has 2 modules. All parts must be completed to complete the overall RefWell Programme.
