“More Than Just a Whistle......”

On Saturday, April 20th a first-ever Club Referee Conference was held in Croke Park. The Seminar was an all-day affair and was attended by more than 200 club referees, both hurling and football, from around the country.

Uachtarán, Liam Ó Néill opened the Conference with speakers Gerry Duffy, Pat McEnaney, Dickie Murphy, Mick McGrath, Prof. Niall Moyna, Eugene McGee, Diarmuid Kirwan, Marty Duffy, Maurice Deegan, Bernard Smith and Patrick Doherty covering a wide-range of topics including Becoming the Best that you can be, Video Education, Umpire Education, Fitness and Nutrition, Football Review Committee proposals, Referee Pathway, GAA E-Learning Portal, Advisor Feedback, Managing Expectation and much more.
